December 3 – December 15, 2023 · Columbia Circle, Shanghai – New Ideal Public Life Festival “~” (Wave) is a code-generated artwork created by the digital art collective Semicolon C, with ecology, intelligence, and vitality as its core creative concepts. The piece deconstructs and reconstructs water ripples into an endless loop, exploring sustainable ways of living in harmony with the ecological environment. A triangular structure is placed at the center of the fountain, where ripples radiate outward; digitally generated waves resonate with the real-world water surface, creating an ongoing interplay between the virtual and the real.
