Construction | Betrayal - New Media Art Installation

"Construction | Betrayal" – SemicolonC × Nencol SemicolonC's latest collaboration with musician Nencol brings a new exploration in sound and lighting stage design. "Construction | Betrayal" was exhibited at the 2018 Shanghai Youth Art Fair. People are always reading their own fronts, yet unable to see their own backs. Immersed within the installation, viewers can only see what lies behind them—through a corridor of cameras and LED screens. This corridor effect between camera and screen seeks to express the various possibilities and fissures within human nature. At the same time, it establishes self-perception through fission—only to shatter that perception once again.
