两件作品皆受海洋及其壮美的启发。人与自然的关系已出现裂痕。这些作品试图让我们与自然重新相连——因为我们本是自然的一部分，与它合而为一。我们如海洋、如森林、如大地一般，本身就是自然。长期以来，人类活动持续导致自然及其物种的消逝，这些作品正是一记提醒：我们彼此相连。倘若我们摧毁自然，我们便摧毁了自己所栖居的世界，也摧毁了自身的人性。
Both artworks are inspired by ocean and its beauty. The relationship between humans and nature has been fractured. These works try to reconnect us with nature as we are part of it and one with it. We are part of nature like ocean, like forest, landscapes. Because we as humans have been contributing to the disappearance of nature and its species these artworks are a reminder that we are all connected. And if we destroy nature, we destroy our world we live in and our humanity.
