Synthetic Memory
Artwork
"Synthetic Memory" (Digital Audio-Visual Work)
This piece attempts to address a question: When memories can be generated by algorithms, do humans still possess their own unique memories?
By using artificial intelligence to generate images, particle systems, digital noise, and film textures, the work continuously disassembles and reassembles robot and human portraits, eventually condensing them into black-and-white photos that bear the traces of time.
